End result, the sensors in the back needed to be replaced. At about 45,000 miles the Thermo Control Valve on my 2020 Outback 2.5 failed so took it to the dealer and they ordered the parts but told me the parts were presently unavailable, that it was ok to drive the car, and that they would notify me when the parts arrived. That was on July 21st and still no parts available.
