TL;DR: Tossing up between Maya and Zer0 for 2-3 man playthrough. Zer0 seems a bit more appealing but Maya would be better for a team run than a solo run. Need help deciding. Zero can get some ridiculous damage per shot with the sniper tree, and melee is mega fun.

Sweet Release is always useful. I much prefer it over Mind's Eye. The crit bonus of Mind's Eye is nice, sometimes I get it too, but melee becomes useless in UVHM as Maya. I guess it's more useful if you're playing solo. For healing, I basically throw longbow storm front then swtich to my grog to get my hp back.Maya is also a great character for end-game play as a lot of players have completed the Digistruct Peak challenge with her and reached OP10. Also she has an easy method of farming Haderax if you need Effervescent weapons. Salvador is also a great character for solo play and can be overpowered at the end-game levels.

Deathtrap is perfect when you need backup (plus his kills get you a Second Wind), and Anarchy allows you to blow through enemies in longer sessions.
